Introducing: the Paxton!

The Noodle became the Paxton. Paxton Roman Smith to be exact. We just adore our little boy!

This is me, the mami, two days before. I thought I still had a week(s?) to go... Thank you Pax for being early!

During Pax's first day on this earth, snow began to fall. And boy did it fall, in record numbers recounted in feet, not inches. Yes, our first son made it just before the eastern seaboard's Snowmageddon of 2010.

Here is Aunt Angie on the front walk before we got home. Yes, there is a yard and a street in between her and that other house. The second picture shows us driving home on Sunday, along what I believe was the bumpiest state highway in Virginia's history. Check out those snow banks!!

The blizzard kept us in the hospital an extra night, which only made being home, together, all the sweeter.
