I want to remember...

... that [most of the time] these boys of mine are as sweet as can be. P is always telling me "I like you so much, mami"--it makes up for all those dinner time battles. That other day I had just watched a particularly depressing movie and I started bawling as I was sitting on the floor watching T play. He walked over to me to rub my head and give me kisses.

... that they both amaze me everyday.

... that P turned 4 but he still wants to be 3. That he is afraid and cries when Woody and Buzz get lost, but sits through The Avengers without making a peep. That when he wakes up in the morning--or sometimes when it's still dark, he doesn't leave his bed without his monkey, pillow, and blanket.

... that, at 17 months old, baby T is a baby only in my mommy eyes. In real life he is a fully pledged toddler. That he runs, he wants independence, he attacks his brother back, and lately he talks. That he never got into sign language--he only signs for food, but now he is making up for it in words. That he repeats anything you say, and consistently says "mash" (more), "agua", "ah-patoh" (shoe), "pullito" (chicken), "alo" (on the phone), "iPad", "tio/a" (uncle/aunt), "mama", "ita", "papo", "ah-deh" (Heidi), Paton, but his favorite word is "no".

... that although some days I feel undeserving of so much love, they still think I am awesome and want to spend time with me.
