Catching UP, Part 2

Yes, it's the much-anticipated sequel to Catching UP, Part 1! Welcome to the month of April.

Paxton is starting to look more like he will in June and onwards.

BIG EVENT No. 1 this month: Grandpa Tejada came for a visit. Gracias papito Jaime por dedicarme varios dias de tu tiempo! Dormimos, comimos, salimos a pasear, y jugamos a "lindo bebe."

BIG EVENT No. 2: We made this cake. It was epic.

BIG EVENT No. 3: We traveled by plane and rental car to the city of St. Paul, Minnesota. One of Milu's dearest friends was married there at the end of April and Milu was her matron of honor. Pax learned about airports and hotel rooms.

Congratulations Mary and Greg Wachman!

During the day of the ceremony, Dad and a mostly sleeping Paxton checked out the St. Paul model railroad museum which was right next the to hotel (which was itself a renovated train depot... something about rail transport up in St. Paul...).

At the wedding, Pax enjoyed being near the party for a while. But there is this thing about babies needing to sleep, turns out.

Milu, on the other hand, fulfilled her matronly duties with gusto.

You would think with all this action, we would be too tired to go on. But not so. We very much wanted to stop in at my brother's place in Wisconsin. We hadn't seen them in a while, and Pax needed to meet his cousins, including little (but not that little) Molly. She is only about a month older than he is!

Cute kids. They must have some good-looking parents.

  1. This post made me reminisce the awesome April that was. It was so special being at Mary and Greg's wedding. The ceremony was "warm" and sweet and the party so much fun!! I don't think I've danced like that since. We love you guys! I am already looking forward to seeing you again. And it was great to visit the K&K Smith family and your cute kiddos. I am glad we got to hang out again in May because our WI visit was definitely too short. Love all your faces!!

Y papi, te agradecemos tanto tu amor y tu apoyo. Los dias que nos visitas son de los mejores dias del ano. Te queremos y extranamos siempre!
