the boys on easter

Yesterday was incredibly cloudy and gloomy in Seoul. The air felt wet and chilling to the bones. Then this morning the clouds were gone and the sun was almost blinding. The air was lighter and the spirits higher. What a perfect Easter morning. At church we sang, we praised, and we taught. Well, we tried. The 5 year-olds in our class were extra wiggly - probably in direct correlation to how much easter egg candy was consumed in the last few days. On the way home, Kevin asked what we were making for dinner. When he learned that we were having salmon and not roast he was a little disappointed. Sorry Kevin. We'll have to alternate the Peruvian and American easter meal tradition.

I have a few posts in the works (so far, they have a title), but it will be a while before I catch up. And since these boys wore their awesome made-in-korea ties today and the small ones had their matching sweater vests, we snapped a few pictures. Thanks to Mamima for sharing the bounty of her mad knitting skills.

And happy birthday to mama Juana (my other grandma), who would have turned one year older today!
