Hi friends, this is the husband/dad.  Miluska had a baby last night!! She was braver and stronger than anyone I've known in this world.  And our baby was born 100% drug-free natural.

Speaking of the baby, yes this is the post where I put up some newborns pics.  See below.

For those who have to know the key statistics (is there anyone that really cares beyond gender when it's another person's child?), Tiago William Smith was born September 21, 2012 at 10:24 pm Korea time.  (Eight days early!)  He weighed 3.62 kilograms (8 lbs) and was 51 cm (20 in.) long.  A little blue at the extremities and non-responsiveness to stimuli earned him an 8 on his 1-minute APGAR, but he pulled it together and got up to a 9 by the 5-minute mark.  We've got ourselves a winner.

Our love to friends in our new Seoul community for their support, and for everyone's prayers out there.  We are especially thankful to have Miluska's mom here.

P.S. We're back home now, just 22 hours after delivery.  Birthing centers are tons better than hospitals in the absence of complications.  In case anyone was wondering!
